TTLは、[[dns|DNS]]レコードにおいて[[dns-cache|キャッシュされた]]応答が有効な期間（秒）を指定する値です。TTLが低いほどDNS変更の伝播は速くなりますが、[[authoritative-dns|権威サーバー]]へのクエリ負荷が増加します。
使用例
A TTL of 300 (5 minutes) means DNS changes propagate quickly; a TTL of 86400 (24 hours) reduces server load but delays updates.
