TTL — значение в записях [[dns|DNS]], указывающее, как долго (в секундах) остаётся действительным [[dns-cache|кэшированный]] ответ. Меньшие значения TTL ускоряют распространение изменений DNS, но увеличивают нагрузку запросов на [[authoritative-dns|авторитетные серверы]].
Пример
A TTL of 300 (5 minutes) means DNS changes propagate quickly; a TTL of 86400 (24 hours) reduces server load but delays updates.
