طلب التعليقات (RFC) هو وثيقة رسمية تنشرها فرقة مهمة هندسة الإنترنت (IETF) لتعريف معايير الإنترنت والبروتوكولات وأفضل الممارسات. وعلى الرغم من الاسم غير الرسمي، فإن وثائق RFC المُعتمدة معايير تقنية موثوقة — إذ يُعرَّف كل بروتوكول إنترنت أساسي تقريباً، بما فيها [[dns|DNS]] (RFC 1034/1035) و[[epp|EPP]] (RFC 5730) و[[whois-protocol|WHOIS]] (RFC 3912)، عبر RFC. وتمر وثائق RFC بمراحل اقتراح ومراجعة قبل أن تصبح معايير.
