Punycode هو صياغة ترميز تحوّل [[idn|أسماء النطاقات الدولية]] التي تحتوي على أحرف Unicode إلى سلاسل متوافقة مع ASCII تبدأ بـ 'xn--'. يتيح ذلك لـ[[dns|DNS]]، الذي يدعم ASCII فقط، التعامل مع أسماء النطاقات غير اللاتينية.
