Bir RRSIG (Kaynak Kayıt İmzası) kaydı (RFC 4034), [[dns|DNS]] kayıtları kümesi üzerinde kriptografik imzayı içerir ve [[dnssec|DNSSEC]] doğrulamasını sağlar. İmzalanmış bir bölgedeki her kayıt türü (A, MX, AAAA vb.) için bölgenin özel anahtarı kullanılarak karşılık gelen bir RRSIG oluşturulur. Doğrulayan [[dns-resolver|çözümleyiciler]], kayıtların aktarım sırasında değiştirilmediğini onaylamak için RRSIG'yi bölgenin [[dnskey-record|DNSKEY]]'iyle doğrular. RRSIG kayıtlarının son kullanma tarihi vardır ve düzenli aralıklarla yenilenmeleri gerekir.
Örnek
An RRSIG on the A record for example.com proves the IP address was signed by the zone owner's private key; tampering with the IP would invalidate the signature and cause resolution failure.
