IDN, Latin olmayan alfabelerden (Çince, Arapça, Kiril vb.) veya aksan işaretli Latin karakterler içeren bir alan adıdır. IDN'ler, DNS uyumluluğu için [[punycode|Punycode]] ile kodlanır.
