O bloqueio de transferência refere-se à regra da Política de Transferência entre Registradores da ICANN que proíbe [[domain-transfer|transferências de saída]] de um domínio por 60 dias após o registro inicial ou após uma transferência concluída para um novo [[registrar|registrador]]. O bloqueio de 60 dias é obrigatório para todos os registradores credenciados pela ICANN e é distinto do status voluntário [[domain-lock|cliente-transferência-proibida]]. Seu propósito é impedir transferências fraudulentas iniciadas imediatamente após um domínio ser registrado com cartão de crédito roubado ou conta sequestrada.
