Le verrouillage de transfert désigne la règle de la Politique de transfert entre bureaux d'enregistrement de l'ICANN qui interdit les [[domain-transfer|transferts sortants]] d'un domaine pendant 60 jours après l'enregistrement initial ou après un transfert achevé vers un nouveau [[registrar|bureau d'enregistrement]]. Ce blocage de 60 jours est obligatoire pour tous les bureaux d'enregistrement accrédités par l'ICANN et se distingue du statut volontaire [[domain-lock|client-transfert-interdit]]. Son objectif est d'empêcher les transferts frauduleux initiés immédiatement après l'enregistrement d'un domaine avec une carte bancaire volée ou un compte piraté.
Exemple
If you register a new .com domain today and immediately try to transfer it to a different registrar, the transfer will be rejected — ICANN policy requires the domain to remain with the registering registrar for 60 days.
