DNS-over-TLS (DoT) mã hóa các truy vấn [[dns|DNS]] bằng giao thức TLS trên cổng chuyên dụng (853). Không giống [[dns-over-https|DoH]], DoT dùng cổng riêng, giúp quản trị viên mạng dễ dàng nhận diện và quản lý lưu lượng DNS hơn.
