DNS-over-TLS（DoT）は、専用ポート（853）でTLSプロトコルを使用して[[dns|DNS]]クエリを暗号化します。[[dns-over-https|DoH]]と異なり、DoTは独自のポートを使用するため、ネットワーク管理者がDNSトラフィックを識別・管理しやすくなります。
使用例
Android 9+ supports 'Private DNS' which uses DoT to encrypt DNS queries to providers like dns.google or 1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com.
