حقوق المسجِّل ومسؤولياته هي مجموعة الاستحقاقات والالتزامات القانونية والتعاقدية التي يتحملها صاحب النطاق عند التسجيل. تشمل الحقوق: استخدام النطاق لأغراض مشروعة، ونقله إلى مالك جديد، وتجديده قبل انتهاء مدته، والطعن في عمليات النقل غير المصرح بها. تشمل المسؤوليات: الحفاظ على [[whois-accuracy|دقة WHOIS]]، والامتثال لسياسة الاستخدام المقبول لدى [[registrar|المسجِّل]]، والخضوع لإجراءات [[udrp|UDRP]] وURS كشرط للتسجيل، وعدم استخدام النطاق في أنشطة غير مشروعة قد تُفضي إلى [[domain-seizure|مصادرته]]. نشر [[icann|ICANN]] إطار حقوق المسجِّل ومسؤولياته عام 2012.
