O GAC (Comitê Consultivo Governamental) é um órgão consultivo da [[icann|ICANN]] composto por representantes de governos nacionais e organizações intergovernamentais. Ao contrário das organizações de suporte, o GAC aconselha em vez de votar, mas seu conselho tem peso especial: quando o GAC emite uma recomendação de consenso, o Conselho da ICANN deve segui-la ou explicar por que não o fará.
