UDRP Panelist Decision

A UDRP panelist decision is the formal written ruling issued by one or three independent arbitrators resolving a domain name dispute under [[udrp]] policy. To succeed, a complainant must prove all three elements: the domain is identical or confusingly similar to their trademark; the [[registrant]] has no [[legitimate-interest]] in the domain; and the domain was registered and used in [[bad-faith-registration]]. Panels may order transfer, cancellation, or deny the complaint entirely — and may additionally make an [[reverse-domain-hijacking]] finding. Decisions are publicly published and form a body of quasi-precedential jurisprudence guiding future cases.

Example

The three-member panel issued a unanimous decision ordering transfer of the disputed domain, citing the registrant's failure to demonstrate any legitimate interest or plausible good-faith use.
