UDRP (Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy)
The UDRP is [[icann|ICANN's]] policy for resolving disputes over domain names that may infringe on trademarks. Complainants must prove the domain is identical/similar to their mark, was registered in bad faith, and the registrant has no legitimate interest.
Example
A company whose trademark 'brandname' was registered as brandname.com by a squatter can file a UDRP complaint to recover the domain.
