O DNSSEC (Extensões de Segurança do Sistema de Nomes de Domínio) adiciona assinaturas criptográficas aos registros [[dns|DNS]], permitindo que os resolvedores verifiquem se as respostas não foram adulteradas. O DNSSEC previne o envenenamento de cache e ataques de interceptação em consultas DNS.
