DNSSEC (Ekstensi Keamanan Sistem Nama Domain) menambahkan tanda tangan kriptografis ke catatan [[dns|DNS]], memungkinkan resolver memverifikasi bahwa respons tidak dimanipulasi. DNSSEC mencegah keracunan cache dan serangan man-in-the-middle pada pencarian DNS.
