Um endereço de e-mail catch-all é uma caixa de correio configurada para receber mensagens enviadas para qualquer endereço em um domínio que não corresponda a uma caixa de correio existente, em vez de devolvê-las. Por exemplo, se apenas [email protected] existir, um catch-all também entregaria [email protected] ou [email protected]. Embora conveniente para capturar e-mails mal endereçados, as configurações catch-all são fortemente visadas por spammers que enviam e-mails em massa para endereços aleatórios de um domínio e dependem do catch-all para entregá-los.
