عنوان البريد الشامل هو صندوق بريد مُهيَّأ لاستقبال الرسائل المُرسَلة إلى أي عنوان في النطاق لا يُطابق صندوق بريد موجوداً، بدلاً من إرجاعها. فإن وُجد [email protected] فحسب، يُسلِّم البريد الشامل أيضاً الرسائل الواردة إلى [email protected] أو [email protected]. ورغم ملاءمته لالتقاط الرسائل المرسلة بعناوين خاطئة، فإن إعداد البريد الشامل يستهدفه المرسلون العشوائيون بشكل مكثف الذين يرسلون بريداً إلكترونياً جماعياً إلى عناوين عشوائية ويعتمدون على البريد الشامل لتسليمه. يوفر أغلب مزودي [[email-hosting|استضافة البريد الإلكتروني]] البريد الشامل كإعداد اختياري مستقل عن [[email-alias|أسماء البريد المستعارة]].

A small business with catch-all enabled receives mail sent to support@, billing@, and sales@ even though only hello@ is formally configured — useful during onboarding, but increases spam exposure significantly.
