Rekaman TXT adalah rekaman [[dns|DNS]] yang menyimpan data teks sembarang. Meskipun awalnya dimaksudkan untuk catatan yang dapat dibaca manusia, rekaman TXT kini banyak digunakan untuk tujuan yang dapat dibaca mesin seperti otentikasi email ([[spf-record|SPF]], [[dmarc|DMARC]]) dan verifikasi kepemilikan domain.
Contoh
A TXT record containing 'v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all' authorizes Google's servers to send email on behalf of your domain.
