DNS (Domain Name System) adalah sistem penamaan hierarkis internet yang menerjemahkan nama domain yang dapat dibaca manusia (seperti example.com) menjadi alamat IP yang dapat dibaca mesin (seperti 93.184.216.34). Sering disebut "buku telepon internet", DNS sangat penting untuk penelusuran web, pengiriman email, dan hampir semua komunikasi internet.
