Subnet Klien EDNS (ECS, RFC 7871) adalah ekstensi [[dns|DNS]] yang memungkinkan [[dns-resolver|resolver rekursif]] menyertakan sebagian alamat IP klien dalam kueri yang dikirim ke [[authoritative-dns|nameserver autoritatif]]. Ini memungkinkan CDN dan DNS berbasis geolokasi mengembalikan server yang paling dekat dengan pengguna akhir, bukan resolver.
