The ccNSO (Country Code Names Supporting Organization) is the [[icann|ICANN]] body that brings together managers of country-code top-level domains ([[cctld|ccTLDs]]) to develop globally applicable policies for ccTLDs and to provide advice to the ICANN Board. Unlike the [[gnso|GNSO]], the ccNSO does not have authority over individual ccTLD policy — ccTLD managers generally operate under national law and bilateral agreements with [[iana|IANA]]. Membership in the ccNSO is voluntary, and the organization focuses on shared challenges such as [[dnssec|DNSSEC]] deployment and internationalized country-code TLDs (IDN ccTLDs).

The ccNSO worked with ICANN to establish the process for delegating IDN ccTLDs — country-code domains in non-Latin scripts such as Arabic, Chinese, and Cyrillic.
