Un enregistrement MX (Mail Exchange) est un enregistrement [[dns|DNS]] qui spécifie le serveur de messagerie chargé de recevoir les emails pour le compte d'un domaine. Les enregistrements MX comprennent une valeur de priorité qui détermine l'ordre dans lequel les serveurs de messagerie sont sollicités.

An MX record for example.com with priority 10 pointing to mail.example.com directs all incoming email to that mail server.
