La suplantación DNS (o envenenamiento de caché DNS) es un ataque donde un [[dns-cache|caché DNS]] se corrompe con datos falsos, haciendo que el [[dns-resolver|resolvedor]] devuelva direcciones IP incorrectas. Esto puede redirigir a los usuarios a sitios maliciosos que suplantan a los legítimos.
