DNS-over-QUIC (DoQ, RFC 9250) ist ein datenschutzfreundlicher DNS-Transport, der DNS-Abfragen über das QUIC-Protokoll auf UDP-Port 853 überträgt. QUIC bietet integrierte Verschlüsselung (TLS 1.3), Multiplexing ohne Head-of-Line-Blocking und schnelleren Verbindungsaufbau als TCP-basierte Alternativen wie [[dns-over-tls|DoT]]. DoQ bietet bei Massenabfragen geringere Latenz als [[dns-over-https|DoH]] und ist besonders vorteilhaft in Mobilfunknetzen, in denen sich Verbindungen häufig ändern.
