النطاق الفرعي هو نطاق يُشكّل جزءًا من نطاق أكبر، ويُنشأ بإضافة تسمية مفصولة بنقطة في البداية. تُتيح النطاقات الفرعية تنظيم أقسام مختلفة من موقعك الإلكتروني أو التأشير إلى خوادم مختلفة دون الحاجة إلى تسجيل أسماء نطاقات إضافية.
