DNS Propagation
DNS propagation is the time it takes for DNS record changes to spread across all [[dns-resolver|recursive resolvers]] worldwide. Propagation time depends on the previous [[ttl|TTL]] values and can range from minutes to 48 hours.
Example
After updating your nameservers, some visitors might still see the old site for up to 48 hours until all cached records expire.
