Implementasi DoH di browser mengacu pada integrasi asli [[dns-over-https|DNS-over-HTTPS]] langsung di dalam browser web seperti Chrome, Firefox, Edge, dan Brave, melewati resolver DNS sistem operasi. Ketika DoH diaktifkan di browser, kueri DNS dienkripsi dan dikirim ke resolver yang dikonfigurasi pengguna atau dipilih secara otomatis (mis., 1.1.1.1 Cloudflare, 8.8.8.8 Google), mencegah ISP dan pengamat di jalur memantau aktivitas browsing di tingkat DNS.
