Domain length refers to the number of characters in the second-level portion of a domain name (excluding the [[tld|TLD]]). Shorter domains are generally more valuable because they're easier to remember, type, and share.
Example
Single-letter .com domains like x.com (sold for $7M+) and two-letter .com domains are extremely rare and valuable.
