Certains [[new-gtld|nouveaux gTLDs]] comme .dev, .app et .page sont inclus dans les listes de préchargement HSTS des navigateurs, ce qui signifie qu'ils nécessitent HTTPS pour tous les sites web. Ceci est appliqué au niveau du [[tld|TLD]], rendant les [[ssl-tls|certificats SSL/TLS]] obligatoires.
