Einige [[new-gtld|neue gTLDs]] wie .dev, .app und .page sind in den Browser-HSTS-Preload-Listen enthalten, d. h. sie erfordern HTTPS für alle Websites. Dies wird auf [[tld|TLD]]-Ebene durchgesetzt und macht [[ssl-tls|SSL/TLS-Zertifikate]] obligatorisch.
