El registro SOA (Start of Authority) es un registro [[dns|DNS]] obligatorio que contiene información administrativa sobre una zona DNS, incluyendo el [[nameserver|nameserver]] primario, el correo electrónico del responsable, el número de serie y los parámetros de tiempo para transferencias de zona y caché.
