Wildcard-SSL-Zertifikate sichern eine Domain und alle ihre [[subdomain|Subdomains]] mit einem einzigen Zertifikat mithilfe des *.example.com-Musters. Dies ist kostengünstiger als einzelne Zertifikate für Sites mit vielen Subdomains.
