Geo-Targeting per Domain ist die Praxis, die Domain-Struktur — typischerweise [[cctld|ccTLDs]] oder Subdomains/Unterverzeichnisse mit [[hreflang|hreflang-Tags]] — zu verwenden, um Suchmaschinen das Zielland oder die Zielregion einer Website zu signalisieren. Google erkennt [[cctld|ccTLDs]] (z. B. .de, .fr, .jp) explizit als starke Geo-Targeting-Signale an und bevorzugt ihr Ranking in den jeweiligen nationalen Suchergebnissen. Generische [[gtld|gTLDs]] wie .com können über die Google Search Console-Einstellungen geo-targetiert werden, aber ccTLDs liefern das stärkste automatische Signal ohne zusätzliche Konfiguration.
