نطاق TLD المجتمعي هو [[new-gtld|gTLD جديد]] أو [[stld|نطاق ممول]] مُصمَّم لخدمة مجتمع محدد وذي مصلحة مشتركة بدلاً من عامة الناس. يحصل مقدّمو طلبات المجتمعية على أولوية في التقييم ضمن عملية gTLD الجديدة لدى [[icann|ICANN]] مقابل إثبات دعم المجتمع الحقيقي، وفرض قيود الأهلية على المسجّلين، وتطبيق سياسات تتوافق مع احتياجات المجتمع. يميّز ذلك نطاقات TLD المجتمعية عن نطاقات gTLD التجارية القياسية المفتوحة لأي مشغّل.
