PTI (Public Technical Identifiers), 2016 yılında süresi dolan ABD Ticaret Bakanlığı sözleşmesi kapsamında [[iana|IANA]] işlevlerini yürüten [[icann|ICANN]] bağlı kuruluşudur. 2016 yılında IANA Yönetim Geçişi'nin bir parçası olarak kurulan PTI — IANA işlevleri üzerindeki denetimi ABD hükümetinden küresel çok paydaşlı topluluğa devretti — [[root-zone|DNS kök bölgesini]] işletir, protokol parametre kayıtlarını (örn. port numaraları, medya türleri) yönetir ve Bölgesel İnternet Kayıt Kuruluşlarına IP adresi tahsisini koordine eder. PTI, herhangi bir tek hükümete değil, ICANN'a ve daha geniş internet topluluğuna karşı sorumludur.
