Разделение реестра и регистратора — это политика [[icann|ICANN]], закреплённая в [[registry-agreement|Соглашениях с реестром]] для устаревших gTLD, таких как .com и .net, которая запрещает [[registry-operator|оператору реестра]] одновременно выступать [[registrar|регистратором]] для того же TLD.
