Redemption Period
The redemption period is a 30-day phase after the [[grace-period|grace period]] expires during which a domain can still be recovered by the original owner, but at a significantly higher cost (typically $80-200). This is a last-resort recovery option.
Example
After missing the grace period for your expired domain, you can still recover it during redemption for a restore fee of about $100.
