Os novos gTLDs são domínios de nível superior genéricos introduzidos pelo Programa de Novos gTLDs da [[icann|ICANN]], que começou a aceitar inscrições em 2012. Mais de 1.200 novos gTLDs foram delegados, oferecendo alternativas às extensões tradicionais como .com e .org.
