Domain Leasing

Domain leasing is renting a domain name for a recurring fee instead of purchasing it outright. The lessee gets to use the domain while the owner retains ownership. Some leases include a purchase option (lease-to-own).

Example

A startup leases premium.com for $500/month with an option to buy it for $50,000 after 12 months, applying lease payments toward the purchase.
