El Período de Gracia de Adición (AGP) es una ventana de 5 días definida en el [[registry-agreement|Acuerdo de Registro]] de ICANN durante la cual un dominio recién registrado puede ser eliminado por el [[registrar|registrador]] a cambio de un crédito completo de la tarifa de registro del [[registry-operator|registro]]. El AGP fue diseñado originalmente para permitir a los registradores revertir errores de facturación sin pérdida financiera, pero fue sistemáticamente explotado a través del [[domain-tasting|domain tasting]]. En 2008, ICANN limitó los créditos AGP al 10% del total de registros mensuales del registrador o 50 dominios, lo que efectivamente puso fin a la práctica a gran escala.

A registrar that accidentally registers the wrong domain on a customer's behalf can delete it within the 5-day AGP and receive a full credit — the customer is refunded without the registrar absorbing a net loss.
