A restore fee is charged to recover a domain name during its [[redemption-period|redemption period]] after expiration. Restore fees are significantly higher than normal registration or renewal fees, typically ranging from $80 to $200+.
Example
If your .com expires and enters redemption, recovering it costs $80-150 restore fee plus a one-year renewal.
