Registry Agreement
A Registry Agreement is a contract between [[icann|ICANN]] and a [[registry-operator|registry operator]] that defines the terms and conditions for operating a [[tld|TLD]]. It covers pricing, security requirements, WHOIS obligations, and renewal terms.
Example
VeriSign's Registry Agreement for .com allows wholesale price increases of up to 7% annually, renewed through 2030.
