Manajemen domain berbasis API mengacu pada kontrol terprogram atas pendaftaran domain, catatan [[dns|DNS]], data WHOIS, dan status [[domain-lock|kunci]] melalui API RESTful atau berbasis EPP dari [[registrar|registrar]] atau penyedia DNS, bukan melalui [[domain-dashboard|dasbor]] grafis.
