Russia operates two ccTLDs: .ru (Latin script) and .╤А╤Д (Cyrillic script), both managed by the Coordination Center for TLD RU. The .ru domain has over 5 million registrations, making it one of the largest ccTLDs globally. The introduction of .╤А╤Д in 2010 was a landmark moment for internationalized domain names, representing one of the first fully non-Latin TLDs. Russia's domain market has been influenced by increasing digital sovereignty policies and domestic internet regulations.
