Ein CAA-Eintrag (Certificate Authority Authorization) ist ein [[dns|DNS]]-Eintrag, der festlegt, welche Zertifizierungsstellen berechtigt sind, [[ssl-tls|SSL/TLS-Zertifikate]] für eine Domain auszustellen. CAA-Einträge verhindern unberechtigte Zertifikatsausstellungen.
Beispiel
A CAA record 'example.com. IN CAA 0 issue "letsencrypt.org"' means only Let's Encrypt can issue certificates for example.com.
